Something that is so relaxing to me, is my nighttime skincare routine. I legit look forward to it each day, no lies! I have invested a lot of research into my skincare routine and have tried many different products. This current routine I have been using for over a year now and I’m obsessed! These products are safe to use while I’m pregnant. As with any product. It’s good to check with your healthcare provider before using it while pregnant. Below is listen to my current routine, along with the order in which I apply each product.
CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser
Okay, this product I love for three reasons. It acts as a makeup remover, cleanses your skin, acts as a double cleanser, and it’s very affordable.
Foaming Cleanser
This cleanser from Beauty Counter I have been liking a lot. It’s gentle on your skin. IT cleans well and does not leave your skin feeling dry or striped like a lot of cleansers can do.
Toner
Think of toner as the “prep” work for your skincare. Skin toner helps increase the energy production in cells while also nourishing and maintaining a healthy pH balance. This toner from DIME is super affordable, works great and you get SO much in the bottle. I’ve been using it for almost a year, morning/night, and my bottle still has a lot of product remaining.
TBT Serum
I apply the TBT serum first because it’s my thinnest serum. A rule of thumb with skincare is you always apply thinnest to thickest. TBT serum helps restore youthful skin, aids in decreasing fine lines, wrinkles, and dark spots helps to tighten and brighten while also Improving suppleness and softness.
Niacinamide Serum
This product from Naturium is HANDS down one of my most loved skincare products of all time. I have legit repurchased this 8x. It’s wild how cheap it is and what it’ll do for your skin. Its main purpose is to help improve uneven skin tone and visually minimize the look of pores, skin texture, and fine lines. Another feature it has that isn’t talked about is to help minimize acne. I noticed this after I started using this product and anyone I recommended someone else use it. They would tell me how AMAZED they were that it treated their acne overnight!
Hyaluronic Acid Serum
If you want to lock in moisture use hyaluronic acid. It will continuously hydrate your skin, boost your skin’s bounce, and plump skin’s appearance. I love this hyaluronic acid from DIME. All of their products are very affordable, while also being high performing.
Overnight Resurfacing Peel
This one product has changed my skin SO much. Even within a month of using it. On average it takes 3 months to see the results of a skincare product. This peel uses AHA/BHA’s to improve skin texture and clarity without drying your skin out. Think of this product as sloughing off dead cells and helping new fresh skin cells to resurface.
Eye Cream
I have used Tartes eye cream for over a year now and love how it hydrates and lightens your undereye.
Recovery Sleep Cream
This has been a great moisturizer at night. It appears thick and treats your skin like a deep moisturizer. But applies very lightly to your skin if that makes sense. I have continued to repurchase this for a third time now and love it!
Eyelash Serum
This eyelash serum is legit GOLD. It’s insane how affordable it and along with being a clean product. If you’re not using this eyelash boost serum from Dime. You’re missing out! My eyelashes are legit baby eyelashes and I have tried multiple different growth products that have yet to yield results like this. I apply this each night as my last step and use a little eyelash spoolie brush to brush my eyelashes out. My eyelashes are not only longer, but are thicker and healthier in appearance.
