How many clothes does my kid actually need? The magic question every parent wishes they knew before going into each new season of buying your kid’s clothes. Have you ever found yourself putting away that season’s clothes thinking “did they even wear this item!?” I know that has happened to me often! Let me show you how to simplify your child’s wardrobe so you will ONLY buy the clothes your child needs and stop wasting money on extra clothes that they will only wear once, or not at all!
Shirts:
Pants:
Dress:
Jacket/Cardigan
Shoes:
Pajamas:
Misc. Closet Items:
- 1 hat
- 2-3 tights
- socks (I prefer all white, makes folding laundry easier)
These staple pieces are what have worked best for us. Each child is different. If the only thing you’re little girl will wear is dresses then focus on adding more dresses into the closet. I wanted to create this as a guide to help when shopping for new clothes for your kids so you’re not overspending money. This guide can work for a toddler boy too!
